Good value for money considering it was during the holidays

The best thing about this hotel are its location and super friendly staff. The room was comfy and clean. The internet was fairly fast although I wasn't able to connect to my VPN which was a bummer.

I got a room that didn't have any natural sunlight. Cheap complimentary slippers (you know that paper ones) would have been great, but I brought my own so not a big deal.

good location, just near the MRT Daan park. the breakfast is great with lots of choices. The room has small kitchen and a comfortable living room. enjoyed my stay here.

Loved pretty much everything about the hotel. Great location that's quiet and yet convenient. Excellent services from the staff and housekeeping. Would love to stay here again!

Insulation is a bit thin so might hear noise or sound from other guests. Wifi speed could be better.

Rooms were very comfortable, nice shower and extra big bed. Bfast was good with free flowing coffee and tea. Location was good with the MRT close by. Staff took extra effort to give us direction and recommendation how to get around the city.

Great small & comfortable place to stay in Taibei

The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations for the space and equipment of the room as well as for breakfast selection. There is a very good Japanese sushi restaurant just around a corner (on the way from the metro station) which is really a good choice if one likes sushi. A nice Daan park is 5 minutes from the hotel and very well lighted at night. Nice stroll before a quiet sleep provided by the Corner House!

Frankly nothing to say. Well recommended!

Better than good

I always stay at corner house when I travel to Taiwan few years ago. They got really busy since. This time, when I returned to corner house, I realized the facilities are getting 9lder meaning that they are not as good as before. Please don't get me wrong. They are still one of the hotel in this price range.

Time to invest back to the facilities and the services. Parking is very hard to find.

Miss its old days

Staff is helpful and friendly as I remember. Rooms are of good size.

Our room was filled with sewage smell the night we checked in and the following morning perhaps due to the heavy rain that day. Had to call staff to spray neutraliser for us in order to stay in the room. Breakfast is disappointing. Overall the property shows its tiredness-- the stained wall in the room and the worn carpet and lift in the hallway. It's quite a pity. I was here for more than two weeks in 2014 and the whole experience was terrific. Staff is still very helpful.

Excellent location, great staff, spacious and comfortable rooms

Second time staying here, this time in a deluxe double room. Like previous time, very comfortable room, great bed, excellent bathroom and facilities (even a mini-kitchen). All staff - front desk, room service, breakfast - were polite, friendly and helpful. I love the location, far enough from the larger roads to be quiet, but close to an underground station (Daan Park) as well as Daan Park itself, within reasonable walking distance (about 13 minutes) of the blue Banan line, bus stop also very close by - i.e. plenty central to get everywhere quickly. The breakfast is good if you don't mind eating Taiwanese (dumplings, steamed vegetables, soy, some meat); it's less appealing if you prefer Western food, then it's basically toast, sweetbreads and jam with some small assortment of cheeses. I'm happy to eat local, so not an issue for me. Coffee is good, which is a plus. Anyway, Taipei is full of places to get fantastic food - a hotel should offer a good bed, a good bathroom, good service and quiet, and The Corner House delivers those in spades.

Excellent. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

Very clean and convenient. 1 mins by walk from MRT station. Very spacious room with balcony. All stuff is very friendly, speaking english and always ready to help. Perfect cost efficiency.

Hot water appeared only after stuff advise - without their help I couldn't turn it on. As far as I understand - this is an issue of all the rooms with the kitchen. Breakfast menu could be improved for european visitors. No currency exchange in the hotel. The nearest bank is in 5 mins by walk, but need to keep in mind the working hours.

A place I will like to stay again.

The bed is so comfortable staff is very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness is great.

The only thing don’t like is the bathroom. Need improvement of the design between shower and toilet bowl area. Everytimes after shower, toilet bowl area section is completely flooded with water.

Good breakfast spread. Unlimited coffee available at the hotel lobby. Quiet residential area with MRT station within two minutes walking distance. Fairly spacious room with great facilities and balcony.

Pre-payment of the entire stay (5 nights full rate) before check-in which has not been released since check-out. From my understanding, pre-payment or deposit held should amount to less than the room rate per night.
